Almas Gitanas Danza Española

Almas Gitanas evolved in November 2018 after a group of mature dancers reunited to share their love of learning and performing the dances of Spain. The company has been working for the past year to reconstruct works that range from Classical, to Traditional, to New and that cover the gamut of dances that are synonymous with Spain. The dancers, all former students of Bede Leyendecker, seek to preserve the beauty of choreographic works by the notable artists that they worked with over the years and educate the general public about this art.
